FSI Giving Back

Community Support
FSI is a firm believer in giving back to the community, and since our inception we have looked for opportunities to demonstrate that commitment in tangible ways. Whether it's encouraging employees to give blood to the American Red Cross, supporting local crisis centers, or working with local schools to help give our kids a better education, FSI enjoys giving back.

20th Anniversary of Racing For The Cure
For the second year in a row, FSI sponsored a group of employees and friends on May 8, 2010, in support of the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure. This was a big year, marking the 20th anniversary of this stellar event, which drew a record number of nearly 17,000 participants and raised close to $2 million. With 24 participants, FSI was proud to be among the 640 teams that completed the 5K walk.     see more pictures...

FSI Make-A-Wish 5K Run Make-A-Wish 5K Run
A total of 27 FSI employees and friends joined in on October 17, 2009 for a 5K run sponsored by the Make-A-Wish foundation. Taking us through the historic Marietta Square district, the event was just one of many that occurred all over the country to raise money for children with terminal illnesses.

The event organizer noted that FSI had one of the largest number of participants in the event that drew an estimated 1,015 runners. Wish.org reports that as of the time of the event, over 184,000 wishes have been granted. FSI is proud to have had a small part in the next one.

News for Kids
Financial contributions to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution's "News for Kids" programs help establish FSI as a partner in education.

This allows FSI to assist the Atlanta Journal-Constitution in their program to work with educators who use newspapers as one of many tools in promoting literacy. The program includes teaching materials, curriculum ideas, and online supplements.
