UPS Offers New Customizable Home Delivery Service Feature

UPS My Choice Info

UPS recently introduced a new customizable “have it your way” home delivery service feature called “UPS My Choice”.  This service basically helps recipients to control what happens to their packages when it turns out that UPS plans to deliver at an inconvenient time.  Maybe you’re going to be out of town and you would like to electronically authorize drivers to leave a package that might normally require a signature.  Maybe you want your package re-scheduled or even re-routed.  UPS My Choice can help consumers do that.  You can set alerts to notify you by email, text or recorded phone alert the day before a package is scheduled to arrive with an approximate delivery time.  If that time is not going to be convenient for you, now you have options for what you can do about it.

For more information about how you can sign up, go to ups.com/mychoice.  You can also check out the article in Internet Retailer discussing how big companies like QVC and Kohl’s are making use of this new feature.
