FSI - Bobby Bounds

Today we continue with our employee interviews.  Taking a few moments out of his busy schedule is Bobby Bounds, FSI's Director of Operations.

How long have you worked at FSI?

I have worked at FSI for five years.

What is your role at FSI?

I am the Director of Operations and oversee virtually all of the warehouse related functions and warehouse employees.

What did you do before FSI, and how in the world did you get roped in with these guys?

Previously, I worked in the Institutional Food business where I served as President of US Foods for 7 years and then Roma Foods for two years. After my work in the food industry, I served as a consultant and did some consulting work for FSI.  I found the business very interesting and was asked to join the company.

What have been some of your memorable moments from your time at FSI?

There have been many memorable moments, but I would list helping the organization become more flexible while increasing customer service as most rewarding.

What makes FSI different?

I have been in the service industry for almost 30 years and I have never been associated with a company that focuses on customer service more than FSI. When it comes to service for our customer base, the answer is always yes! When you combine this commitment to service with our level of technology it is easy to see why FSI has been so successful.

What do you enjoy doing with your spare time outside of FSI?

In my spare time I enjoy working with my horses and fishing.
